The Palestinian envoy to the United Nations has slammed Israel for launching vicious attacks against thousands of peaceful protesters in the besieged Gaza strip.
Riyad Mansour stressed that the Israeli forces have massacred the Palestinians. He noted that it was the Israeli soldiers who initiated the deadly violence during the mass demonstrations. Israel on Friday killed 17 protesters and injured over fourteen hundred others in Gaza during the annual Land Day rallies. Palestinians are to observe a day of mourning over the killings. During the rallies, Palestinians denounce Israel’s confiscation of their land and call on the international community to pressure the regime into recognizing their right to return to Palestine.
