UN top official slams Trump's derogatory remarks

The UN’s top human rights official has criticized the U-S president’s derogatory remarks about journalists and his attack on freedom of the press.
Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein also disapproved of the US president’s verbal attack on journalists and news organizations, saying it could amount to incitement. He added that calling news organizations fake can cause tremendous damage and endanger journalists’ lives. Last week, Trump condemned the media and their coverage while calling journalists sick people. The UN official has in the past questioned Trump’s comments regarding Muslims, Mexicans, women and people with disabilities. He called Trump’s biased remarks grossly irresponsible as it could lead his followers to assault certain communities.
