Protesters in Chile burn US flag during US Vice President visit

Demonstrators burnt the US flag in protest against the US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Chile, outside the Santiago's Palacio de La Moneda, on Wednesday.

Protesters from the National Coordinator of Human and Social Rights Organisations were joined by the Chilean Committee of Solidarity with the Bolivarian People of Venezuela who burned several flags expressing their opposition to Pence's arrival. They chanted and handed out pamphlets against what they deemed US interventionism on the continent.
