North Korea says will give 'severe lesson' to US


North Korea says its nuclear and missile activities are not negotiable, and that the country will not stop developing its atomic program.

Pyongyang said it will respond to the UN sanctions with strong follow-up measures and acts of justice. The country also threatened the US, which drafted the UN sanctions resolution. It said it will teach Washington a -severe lesson with its strategic force if the US takes military action against the north. Pyongyang underlined that the entire U-S territory is within North Korea’s striking range. In the meantime, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Beijing hopes to see the two Koreas hold talks. He, however, noted that Beijing remains committed to enforcing the latest UN sanctions against Pyongyang.
