The Lebanese army is pressing ahead with an all-out offensive to boot out Daesh terrorists from the eastern parts of the country along the border with Syria.
The army says at least 20 terrorists were killed during clashes with Lebanese troops. Government forces have also targeted positions of terrorists in Jaroud, Raas Ba’albak and al-Qaa with rockets and heavy artillery. Meanwhile, Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah, has declared a joint offensive with the Syrian army in border areas. Hezbollah’s armed forces have in recent weeks dealt hefty blows to the Takfiri group and retaken several key areas from the terrorists.
