UK survey shows support for Labour more than Tories

A new poll shows that the U-K prime minister’s popularity has declined considerably since last month’s general elections.
According to a survey by Opinium, only 31 percent of voters approve of Theresa May’s leadership of the Conservatives. The poll also shows that the popularity of the Conservative party currently stands at 39 percent, which is six percentage points less than the Labour party. These results suggest that if general elections were called today, Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn would likely become prime minister. Corbyn has already told his supporters that he is determined to force snap elections. May enjoyed extraordinary approval ratings in April when she called for early general elections. Her popularity has declined consistently since then.
