Russian Il-76 airdrops humanitarian aid over Deir ez-Zor

 Some 20 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered to the embattled city of Deir ez-Zor, Tuesday, the Russian Centre for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties announced the same day.

Freight including food and medicine was seen being loaded aboard a plane before setting off for Deir ez-Zor where it was dropped by parachute from an altitude of around 4,000 metres
