Cholera outbreak in Yemen kills 70 in less than 48 hours

The World Health Organization says cholera has killed at least 70 Yemenis in less than two days.
The WHO also says 10-thousand suspected cases of the disease have also been recorded. According to the report, since the epidemic broke out across Yemen in late April, nearly 750 people have lost their lives. The United Nations has repeatedly voiced alarm over the cholera outbreak in the war-torn country. Despite efforts by local authorities and aid deliveries by international organizations, the number of cholera cases has been on the rise. Aid workers say Saudi Arabia's war on Yemen and its crippling sea and naval blockade have made it impossible for the outbreak to be contained.
