US Senate committee approves new Iran sanctions bill

The United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations has approved a bill to impose new sanctions on Iran over its missile program which Tehran says only serves defensive purposes. Many Iranians say the sanctions could undermine the nuclear deal.
