US president accused of disclosing confidential info to Russia

US President Donald Trump has reportedly given away confidential information to Russian officials during a meeting at the White House last week.
The Washington Post has published the report, citing current and former US officials. Trump is accused of disclosing classified information about Daesh terrorists to Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and the Russian ambassador to Washington. The revelation has triggered reactions from both Democrats and Republicans. Democratic senators said Trump’s action was reckless and dangerous. Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan said through his spokesman that the administration should provide a full explanation. Senior Republican senator John McCain also reacted, saying this is disturbing. The U-S National Security Advisor, however, has rejected the allegation, saying such disclosure of information did not happen.
