“Trump did not share any secrets with Russia”

The Russian President says his US counterpart, Donald Trump did not share any secrets with Russian officials during last week’s meeting in Washington. Putin made the remarks at a news conference alongside visiting Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni in the Black Sea resort of Sochi. The Russian president suggested that Moscow share the transcript of last week's talks between Trump and Lavrov with U-S Congress. Two U-S officials said on Monday that Trump had disclosed highly classified information to Lavrov about a planned Daesh operation. Moscow has repeatedly said that anti-Russian politicians in the United States are using groundless fears of closer ties with Moscow to sabotage any rapprochement.
