Protesters have marched through the streets of the German capital Berlin to demonstrate ahead of the 69th anniversary of Nakba day.
A Jewish anti-fascist group has joined the rally to raise awareness about the continued plight of Palestinians displaced decades ago. Protesters have also held banners in solidarity with some 1500 Palestinians currently on hunger strike in Israeli prisons. In the run-up to the commemoration of Nakba day which falls on 15th of May, activists around the world raise awareness about the 1948 Palestinian exodus. A similar event has been held in London.
