Mysterious sea 'monster' washed up on Seram Island has been identified

The mysterious giant sea creature that washed up on the shore of Seram Island, Indonesia's Maluku province, earlier this week was finally identified, according to the media reports on Tuesday.

A closer examination of the animal revealed the remains most likely belong to a baleen whale. Footage of the creature was shot on the island Friday.
