Man accused of killing eight people in Mississippi shooting spree
Another deadly shooting in the United States; a gunman has gone on a
rampage following a family dispute in the state of Mississippi.
The
incident took place in three different locations in Lincoln County.
Eight people, including a police officer were killed during the shooting
spree. The gunman killed three family members at a house and then the
sheriff’s deputy after he responded to an emergency call regarding the
family dispute. Then, the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Willie
Corey Godbolt, headed to another residency and shot dead two others.
After that, he headed to the third location and killed two more people.
The suspect is in custody. America’s lax gun laws are blamed for
thousands of shooting-related deaths each year.
