Syrian govt. in full control of homs once evacuation is

A third group of foreign-backed militants and their families is being evacuated from the central Syrian city of Homs.
Hundreds of people are leaving al-Waer, the last militant-held district of the city. They will be taken to the northwestern city of Idlib. The evacuation process began last month under a Russian-brokered deal. The government will assume full control of Syria’s third largest city once the evacuation is complete. The recapture of Homs, which was controlled by militants for years, is seen as a major gain for the Syrian government.
