Presidential hopeful Hassan Rouhani has announced an economic plan for his first one hundred days in office. The incumbent president says he would execute the intensive program should he wins the ticket to the office for a second four-year term in May 19 election. Rouhani also says he has drawn up a comprehensive long-range plan to tackle unemployment and stimulate production. The 68-year-old president has once again defended his government’s economic policies, saying they have helped the economy climb out of recession in all sectors, except the stagnant housing market.
