Parents of kidnapped Chibouk girls have accused the Nigerian government of not doing enough to secure the release of their children after three years.
The remarks were made at the third anniversary of Boko Haram terrorists’ abduction of nearly three-hundred schoolgirls. The parents also slammed as shocking and devastating the unknown fate of their missing children. They once again called on the Nigerian government to release details of negotiations with Boko Haram terrorist group, but Abuja says it is for now impossible for security reasons. Last October, the West African country announced the release of 21 schoolgirls following talks with the Takfiri group. It had said that another group of 83 girls would be freed very soon, but neither of them has ever since returned home.
