Doctors without Borders has warned about the deplorable condition of refugees heading to Europe.
The MSF says the closure of the European Union borders has only made the Balkans route more dangerous for asylum seekers. The humanitarian organization has recorded more than seventy refugee deaths between Greece and Hungary since last year. The deaths were mainly caused by hypothermia, drowning, traffic accidents and suicides. Most of those, who make it to safety, also face mistreatment and violence.
