The Syrian president says western countries led by the US interfere in favor of terrorists whenever the Syrian army makes significant advance.
Bashar al-Assad was referring to the US missile strikes on Shayrat airbase on April 7. He noted that the attack came after terrorists’ defeat in Hama province and advances in the north and the east of the country. The Syrian president said the US and its allies used all their tools in the war against Damascus including Wahhabi terrorism. He stressed that war on terrorism would not stop as long as terrorists remained in Syria. Assad said the government would also continue its participation in peace talks in Astana and Geneva to stop the bloodshed.
