6 injured as blaze hits refugee house in Germany

A fire at a refugee house in the German town of Weil der Stadt has injured six asylum seekers.
The blaze tore through the refugee accommodation in the early hours of Tuesday. Officials say a total of 37 people were in the house when the fire broke out. One of those injured is in critical condition. Over one-hundred firefighters managed to contain the fire. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze. Germany has witnessed similar incidents at refugee centers since 2015 when an influx of asylum seekers raised anti-refugee sentiments in the European country.
