The Secretary General of Hezbollah resistance movement has slammed the United Nations as a weak organization which has succumbed to the pressures of the US and Israel.
Speaking at a gathering in Beirut, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah branded the UN as untrustworthy. He made the remarks after a senior UN official who had criticized Israel’s acts against the Palestinians was forced to step down. The official’s resignation came due to coercive measures against her to withdraw a UN report which says Israel has imposed an apartheid regime on the Palestinians.
Nasrallah pointing to the six-year war in Syria said certain Arab nations have spent billions of dollars in Syria to support anti-Damascus groups.
