Over the past couple of years, more than a million asylum seekers have arrived in Europe. But it seems that there is no end in sight to their suffering even on the continent they considered a safe haven. Britain, which is one of the richest European countries, is under fire for using EU rules to send asylum seekers back to Eastern European states where they had experienced abuse and torture.
