Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused German Chancellor Angela Merkel of supporting terrorists. The accusation comes amid heightened tensions over the barring of Turkish ministers from attending campaign rallies in E-U countries.
Erdogan argued that Germany is backing terrorists by refusing to take action on 4500 dossiers, sent by Turkey, on terror suspects. Merkel hit back by calling Erdogan's comments absurd. Meanwhile, the Turkish president has once again used Nazi comparisons to criticize Dutch treatment of Turkish ministers and accused the Netherlands of Quote- Nazism and neo-Nazism. The analogy has drawn an angry reaction from the German Chancellor.
