Turkish PM warns against "EU meddling" in referendum

The Turkish Prime Minister has warned European countries against attempts to interfere in an April 16 referendum on expanding presidential powers.
Addressing a rally in the southern Anatolian province of Karaman, Binali Yildirim cautioned Europe to -quote- mind its own business. The issue has already strained relations between Turkey and several European countries. Ankara has been in a dispute with Germany and the Netherlands over their decision to block Turkish officials from holding political rallies in those countries. The rallies were meant to earn support for the upcoming referendum in Turkey that aims to give president Erdogan more powers. The European Union has criticized the vote, saying it will give too much power to the president.
