Iraqi troops retake new districts from Daesh

The Iraqi commander of Mosul operation says the army has liberated several positions in Mosul including Badush dam northwest of the city. General Abdul-Amir Yar Allah said Badush cement factory and the districts of Rajm al-Hadid and Wadi al-Ain were also purged of terrorists. The army is inching closer to the strategic Nuri Mosque inside Mosul’s Old City. They have also recaptured the region's industrial zone after inflicting heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorists. The Iraqi commander also said there was information that Daesh chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been wounded and was in hiding near the Syrian border. He, however, said al-Baghdadi had lost his importance and his fighters were not receiving orders from him.
