Iraqi troops make fresh gains as they push with their offensive to liberate the northern city of Mosul. The Iraqis are trying to fully flush out Daesh terrorists from the Mosul center and old city, where the Mosul Grand Mosque is located. Iraqi forces say their operations have been deliberately slowed down to allow the safe evacuation of civilians caught in the crossfire.
