Haley defends deployment of THAAD in South Korea

Haley says all options are on the table for Washington in dealing with Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile tests. She added that the U-S has to see “some sort of positive action” from North Korea before discussing ways to reduce tensions on the Korean peninsula. Haley was speaking to reporters after emergency consultations of the UN Security Council. On Monday, North Korea conducted missile tests, which led to an escalation of tensions in the region. In response, the U-S set in motion the planned deployment of an anti-missile system in South Korea.
