Reactions pour in on the results of the Netherlands’ national elections where far-right leader Geert Wilders has received a heavy blow.
French President François Hollande has congratulated Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte for his victory against QUOTE extremists. Foreign Minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault praised the Dutch people for stemming the rise of far-right politics and understanding the challenge their country would face if Wilders’ party had been elected. European Union’s Commission Chief Jean-Claude Juncker also hailed what he described as the Netherland’s vote against extremists.
