Cars set on fire as unrest continues in Paris

Several cars were set alight when more than 200 protesters rallied in the French capital, Monday, to denounce police brutality. The protest came a day after a 56-year-old Shaoyo Liu of Chinese ethnicity was allegedly killed by the police who were called to Liu's house following a family disagreement.

Members of the Chinese community in Paris participated in the protest. The police claim that Liu attacked one of the officers in the throat with a pair of scissors. However, Liu's family claimed that Liu had scissors because he was cutting fish that he was cooking.
