Bahrain urged to avoid blame game

Speaking in a weekly press conference, Bahram Qassemi said Manama should opt for interaction and political settlement rather than cracking down on Bahraini groups and people. Elsewhere in his remarks, Qassemi said Saudi Arabia is trying in vain to build a consensus against Iran, urging Riyadh officials to change their approach. He also said Iran’s diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia have nothing to do with the issue of Hajj. He said Iranian pilgrimage officials are following up the issue of Hajj in meetings with Saudi authorities.
