1000s of Yemenis rally in
Sana
’a on 2nd anniversary of Saudi war
A sea of demonstrators has poured onto the streets of the
Yemeni capital, Sana’a, to mark the second anniversary of Saudi Arabia’s
war on the impoverished nation. The protesters chanted slogans against
the Saudi aggression and emphasized the Yemeni people’s will to resist
and safeguard the country’s dignity in the face of the Kingdom’s
continued aerial bombardments. The Saudi monarchy launched its military
campaign against Yemen in late March 20-15. The onslaught has so far
killed over 12,000 people, many of them women and children.
