The process of Britain’s leaving the European Union could officially
kick off this week. The UK Parliament is expected to finally grant Prime
Minister Theresa May the legal right to start EU exit negotiations.
After heated debate and a delay in the House of Lords, the Brexit bill
could win final approval by both Houses on Monday. That would give the
premier the all-clear to begin the process whenever she wants. Whether
or not May would start the Brexit trend immediately remains to be seen.
She has already promised to start the two-year withdrawal process by the
end of March.
