Kremlin Spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said the issue is not related to the Kremlin and refused to make further comments. Peskov previously said Flynn and the Russian ambassador to the United States had contacts before the January 20 inauguration of President Donald Trump. However, he denied that the two discussed lifting anti-Russia sanctions in their conversations.
