Protesters continue to rally against Trump's immigration order

In Columbia, protesters gathered at a South Carolina State House to voice their anger at Trump’s anti-immigrant policy. The demonstrators also held signs in support of Muslims and other immigrants. Some of the placards bore slogans deriding Trump’s claim that the travel ban is aimed at barring terrorists’ entry. Thousands also gathered in downtown Minneapolis around the U-S Courthouse to protest Trump’s executive order. The protesters denounced the policy, saying it propels the U-S back in its history. The rallies come as three states joined the legal challenge to the travel restrictions. The challenges, put up by Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia, argue that the ban violates the constitutional guarantees of religious freedom.
