Activists have held rallies in the US cities of New York and Washington against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit.
Protesters in Washington DC marched on the White House to condemn Israel’s settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories and its violations of international law. They also strongly criticized U-S President Donald Trump’s campaign promise to move the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds. Demonstrators in New York also slammed Tel Aviv’s policies in the Middle East. They called for an immediate end to the occupation of Palestine.
