Pakistan has launched a nationwide security crackdown, following a deadly Daesh-claimed bomb attack in Sindh province.
Security forces have arrested scores of suspects so far. They have also killed nearly 20 terrorists during overnight operations. The developments come after a massive explosion ripped through a famous Sufi shrine in the city of Sehwan. A large number of people had gathered at the site to perform special rituals and prayers. The terrorist attack has claimed the lives of at least 75 people, including 20 children. Hundreds of others have also sustained injuries. Pakistan has been witnessing violent terrorist attacks for more than a decade.
