A new project in Mexico City is seeing walls of plants erected by the
sides of busy roads hoping of tackle the capital’s serious pollution
problem. The Via Verde, or Green Way project, will see over 60,000
square metres of vertical gardens erected beside the Mexican capital’s
busiest motorway. Founders of the project say it will greatly improve
the air quality in the city.
