Fresh clashes erupt in France over police brutality

Fresh clashes have erupted in France between protesters and riot police during a rally against police brutality.
Police in riot gear fired tear gas to disperse the angry crowds in the northern city of Rouen. Eight people have been arrested in the protest that is the latest in a series of demonstrations against police brutality over the past fortnight. More than two-hundred protesters have been arrested so far. The rallies were instigated by the alleged sexual abuse of a 22-year-old black man, identified as Theo. One of the police officers involved in the incident has been charged with rape, while three others were charged with assault.
