Dutch far-right party leader launches campaign

Far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders has launched his campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections by reiterating his anti-Islam views.

Talking to reporters amid a heavy security presence, Wilders also used derogatory language to refer to Moroccans, and blamed them for an increase in insecurity in Holland. Protests also took place against Wilders, as fans posed for pictures with the controversial politician. Wilders has time and again made anti-Islam and anti-immigration statements. He currently leads opinion polls ahead of the Dutch parliamentary elections set for March 15.
