The US president has once again threatened Iran. In a new tweet, Donald Trump has said Iran is playing with fire. The US president also said Iran did not appreciate his predecessor Barack Obama whom he described as kind to Tehran. Trump also said he will not be quote-as kind as Obama was to the Islamic Republic. Immediately after Trump’s tweet, Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif shot back, tweeting Iran is unmoved by threats. Zarif also said Iran derives its security from its people adding that the country will never initiate a war but it can rely on its means of defense. Iran has time and again said it will not be intimidated by threats and will not relinquish its right to conventional military capabilities to defend itself against foreign aggression.
