Bullies will regret threatening Iran: Rouhani

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani says Tehran will never yield to the language of threats and will strongly respond to any moves by ill-wishers of the country.

The Iranian president was addressing the demonstrators in the capital Tehran on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory. Rouhani said Iranians have time and again shown their wisdom and maturity in the history of their Islamic Revolution. He hailed achievements made by Iranians following the victory of the revolution. Rouhani highlighted advances in the peaceful nuclear program as well as breakthroughs in agriculture, transpiration, nano-technology, and other fields. The Iranian president also condemned Washington’s illegal seizure of Iran’s assets, saying Tehran has filed a formal complaint on the issue at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.
