
At least eight people have been killed after a bomb explosion ripped through Pakistan’s northwest.
The blast hit a shopping area in the city of Lahore. At least thirty others have been injured as a result of the explosion. Rescue services have been dispatched to the area. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack as of now. Pakistan has been struck by a wave of terrorist attacks in recent weeks, killing at least 130 people across the country and leaving hundreds wounded. The worst of the attacks was at a shrine in Sind province that killed 90 people this month.
