Tehran slams Canada court verdict as "unlawful"

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned a Canadian court ruling against the Islamic Republic as a gross violation of international law.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi says under international law, governments and their property have immunity to such verdicts. He described as unacceptable the Canadian court ruling which says Iran has to pay 300 thousand dollars to quote-victims of terrorist attacks. The foreign ministry spokesman noted that Iran reserves the right to take due legal and political measures in response to the verdict.
