Iran parliament speaker slams US provocations

Iran’s parliament speaker Ali Larijani says Tehran seeks stability in the Middle East and the Korean peninsula and thus opposes the QUOTE provocative acts of the US.
Larijani says Washington is constantly making attempts to pressure independent countries. He blamed the crisis in Syria and Iraq on meddling and pressure from the United States. He accused the U-S of troubling the whole region by providing support for terrorist groups in Iraq and Syria. Larijani made the remarks during a meeting with his North Korean counterpart Choe Thae-bok in Tehran. Choe also blamed Washington’s meddlesome policies for the continuous rift between the two Koreas and denounced the U-S military threats against his country. During their meeting, Larijani and Choe called for an expansion of bilateral ties between Tehran and Pyongyang.
